I was wondering that myself sammmy?? I know those trim tags don't come out looking that nice when you strip the paint off of them.

I don't know about the rivots. My 68's have the original rivots and they are different than those being that they have holes in the middle of the rivots. I still think the tag itself is fine but it may have been off the car and reinstalled with the wrong style rivot.

I guess I would have to be skeptical, considering he is "not agreeing with the $1500 for verification" unless he has original paperwork... But hey...it always pays to spot a car and check it out...thanks for sharing...
