I talked to that guy and I think he was from Connecticut??? It was an original 6cyl car that was rust free. I have pics of it from Super Chevy at Maple Grove.

The vin number to the car starts with 11327 or it did at one time. The trim tag is a repo, the car started life with a bench seat. Bob

Trim tag doesn't appear to be a repo. Just an early car. It looks to be a December 67 built car and 735 designates it as having a black vinyl bucket interior. The "11427" on the trim tag doesn't mean anything, almost all Novas had that trim tag wheather they were 4,6 or 8 cylinder cars. The VIN on the dash will tell how many cylinders the car had. Looks like the correct Trim Tag to me and it is a very nice car, Butternut Yellow and black . I don't know about it being a Motion modified or baldwin Motion car but it is a sweet ride. Thanks for posting the photos James, I like to see any nice 68 Nova

I don't know about the rivots. My 68's have the original rivots and they are different than those being that they have holes in the middle of the rivots. I still think the tag itself is fine but it may have been off the car and reinstalled with the wrong style rivot.

...nice pics!...
I guess I would have to be skeptical, considering he is "not agreeing with the $1500 for verification" unless he has original paperwork...
But hey...it always pays to spot a car and check it out...thanks for sharing...

I looked at this car when it had a six and a bench seat in it. The trim tag has to be a fake or off another car, code 735 is for bucket seats I sat in this car and it had a bench seat in it. My buddy pasted on the car and the present owner bought it. There is no way it left Motion with a 427 in it. Bob

That makes sense now Bob. You weren't that specific in your earlier post. You led me to think you were replying to Jeds statement not having seen the car yourself. Thanks for clarifying it.
