If C.K. Surlock's car has it's original drive train than this is not the car. I know for a fact that the motor and trans were long gone. The original rear end may still have been in the car but very doughtful. Thanks, Jeff

The reply from Kurt indicate that Ed Stinn sold several red body/black vinyltop COPO Camaros. Can you clarify that Kurt ?
A previous owner may have put a restamped engine and trans in the car and sold it on to a new owner without telling him. So C.K. mabye actually thought it was the original drivetrain and therefore gave the author the wrong information. It has happened before. ![]()

I will email the pictures to mockingbird812 tonight when I get home from work or tomorrow at the latest. Thanks! I just got off the phone with C.K. and he said he sold that car in 1991-1992 to someone in Florida. He is going to see if he has any info on it and call me. He said the motor was a replacement CE motor. I am getting closer!!! He was not sure of the cars history. Jeff

Well it's been some time since I have been on here so I thought I would see if anyone knows anything more than the last post. I eneded up talking with C.K and he was not sure what the COPO was. That COPO was sold years ago and he didn't know who owns it now. I am back at a dead end! Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Jeff
