If you look at the engine code it says 454 4 BL HC ENG on one line and the line immediately following it says 454 5 BL HC ENG. It is like someone copied a cell in Excell and when it dragged it the number rolled up one - Very suspicious.
I have a LS5 from Arlington with a Build Sheet and they did spell 331 RATIO ALLE - just like this one. Never noticed that before.

And double entries is not at all uncommon for Arlington docs. You have to remember, this info was manually entered by humans! As for the authenticity of this particular sheet,.............. ![]()

It was my understanding the Arlington Texas plant did not start building Chevelles of any year until December of 1969. This was one of the reasons it was very unusual to find a build sheet at all in an Arlington car, and if you did, it was located under the passengers floor board under the underlayment. The other plants that had started bulding Chevelles since 1964 has numerous build sheets, and could be found under the back seat, behind door panels, stuffed under the dash, by the pedals ect.
The original Window Sticker from my Arlington Texas and every other real LS6 I have ever seen from this plant, has always Stated: "...Dual Dual exhaust..." on it. This is the only plant that I have ever seen this commonly typed like that.. Rick Nelson, can you comment on this? Bill 1970 LS6 / M-22 2008 Victory Red ZO-6 (What a NEAT car!) |

Is the VIN readable in the upper right? If not, I'm not sure the rest is all that important.
