That picture had to be taken from either Katella Ave or Ball Rd...and I am guessing that it's Katella Ave! My old stomping grounds...

Not a whole lot of building going on in the area in 1955...Katella (named after Kate and Ella...really) is at the very bottom of the picture and Identifed as such in the lower right...and the main entrance to Disneyland would be on Harbor...a quarter of the way up on the right hand side of the picture where the pavement 'island' can be seen.

I lived about 1 mile above and left of the top of the upper left of the picture!
The 5 fwy can be seen in the upper right.
