[/ QUOTE ] Could be - I'm not sure of the bike - not one of my shots I was thinking Jawa or a G80 because of the skinny downtubes and lack of left side exhaust?? The Bandit will smoke 'em for anyone!

Glenn, I don't know what planet you're form, but I hope they don't beam you up any time soon. Not only the '62 convt with Merv Griffin, BUT you may have produced the ONLY proof that Chevy built a '61 Super Sport Impala Sport Sedan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (4dr, hardtop)!!!!!!!! Verne |

[/ QUOTE ] I noticed that, too, but thought "nah, it can't be" The hubcaps could be easily added but it sure does look like the 61 'SS' logo forward of the Impala script on the rear quarter. The picture wasn't quite clear enough to me to be positive that's what it was though. Glenn, I don't know where in the world you're getting all these pictures, but I hope it's an endless supply

Bill, Also note the narrow band white walls and black wheels. Those tires only came on the Super Sport in '61. According to the literature, the SS option was available on all Impala body styles except wagons. Verne |
