For what it is worth, I just picked up Mark's Mitchell's Turbo 400 from TSI Transmissions in Burnsville, MN after undergoing a total rebuild.

Hey Rick! Are you going to post pictures of the Pilot car
restoration process for us to see? No pressure.

Wow, very nice car. But can somebody pontificate for the purpose of discussion on what a car is worth (other than the standard answer of " it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it"). Here you have what looks to be very nice car that does not have the original motor, trans and who knows what else. How does one come up with 65K price and what would this car sell for if it did have the born with components. I'm not bashing. I just want to know.....

Kyle,

Welcome to sYc.

To answer your question... Rarity. I have been following these 69 300 Deluxe Post Sedans for a long long time...and have traveled the country in search of real SS cars. To date (5/10/08) I currently only have 23 real SS 1969 300 Deluxe Post Sedans in my data base. The car is what it is....a non original engine and trans. But try finding another one.

Dan.

Rob,

"Thought the same-- any paper work on car"

Just owner history and IBM punch card. Car was always in the Kansas City area...prior to coming to IL.
