Gary that car is so sweet like it sits. Build a 454 small block, dress it to look like the stock motor and leave the rest alone.

Gary, It looks like you've got a great father/son/brother/uncle(Bruce) deal going there, the Chevelle really doesn't look like it needs anything immediately, so happy motoring. Sorry we didn't' get a chance to meet you or see the car while we were at pavilions, maybe next time.

Pretty darn cool just as it sits! Neat color combo with the red guts too. ![]() Now, about those plastic inner fenders. Any part numbers or markings on them? My originals had absolutely no markings of any kind on them, but the ones on Howard's Green car had all kinds, including "Made in Canada". Flint car eh? Pretty safe bet you won't find a build sheet. ![]()

I have all 5 (if you include the spare) of the painted 14" steel wheels, and 3 of the 4 dog dish hubcaps the car came with. I think I am going to go with the "SS" style magnum (15") repro wheels, as they are my favorite Chevy wheel.ANYTHING though is better than those 1990's mags on that poor car!

Cool, I live a few minutes from Grand Blanc and don't remember seeing this one for sale. SUPER clean for a Midwest car. Did you buy it recently?

I knew Gary would respond...I like the SS wheels too...but he has the option of switching them out when he wants to! (And he thought the car wouldn't be good enough to take to Pavillions ![]() ![]() ![]()
