"thedahmer" Any relation? [/ QUOTE ] Yikes...to Jeffrey?. If anyone picks up at his place, make sure to pass on the homemade stew!!! ![]() Looking at the different fobs it appears like they've been imprinted w/ the various styles after assembly w/ images offset to miss the rivets?. Wouldn't originals be imprinted on the leather first without rivets installed yet so the result would be the images more centered?. ![]() ~ Pete

The design he's selling are not even authentic or vintage to the year some of those dealerships were doing business,IF even in business then too.The Balfour Co.was the original Mfr.of these back then and supplied them to all the dealerships if they wanted them.
Both designs,(Double post on the left & single w/removable key ring on the right),shown below are what Chevrolet issued between 1965-72 and came in both colors shown w/dealer name on opposite side. They would mix up the release of colors from year to year, meaning tan one year, black the next..The page they are sitting on is from the 1970 Chevrolet salesmans Merchandise Catalog. His keychains on eBay appear to the much earlier 1950's design to me,and stamped much later on after the fact. ![]() |
