my dad has some awesome super 8 movies from there in his collection of old stuff. im trying to convince him to have it recorded to a disc. i havent seen them in years. i know he has about 8 or more hours of racing his chevelle and various other cars too. maybe your car too darren, ya never know.

[/ QUOTE ] Jeff... I've been through this a few times and have learned it's safest to let the conversion be the first time you run the films.. Old tapes sometimes loose their color after they've been run past the good old projector bulbs...even though it's held well for many passes in earlier years!. Also aged films can become crispy and break easily so again the first running is your best chance to get the most converted before having to splice and risk loosing some magical footage.. Although tempting to watch first especially before trusting them to a complete stranger for conversion, I learned the hard way and now limit previews to still action eyeball views only.. good to know pete. we dont have a projector anymore so they would have to be converted before we can see them. ill try and keep on him or maybe ill just go over there and dig them up myself.
