In the past 6 months or so I've had several 1969 Chevelle people asking me for tag #3946767 for an L-78 application... I don't have this tag and have never seen one... If you go to Camaro assembly manual the tag for L-78 is 3946797... My question is does anyone have a 3946767 tag, or have they seen one??? Or my thought is that it's a typo and the 9 got flipped in the printing process to become a 6... These tags are usually in familyies of tag numbers...

3946797 3946798 3946799 I have never seen any tag number either side of 3946767... I'm open to any and all input... Crash |

Hate to say, but Chuck's list has several errors in it. Also, note that Chevelle and Camaro shared some applications, but some were unique.

Crash, The 767 # is one of the errors.

I agree with the 6767 issue, all Chevrolet materials I've seen report it should be a 9.

I have two actual 9 tags here as well. I can not confirm if this typo was made by the author of the list or the source he got it from, but it does look like an error. |
