[ QUOTE ]
Did the Rocket wheels have a Chromed Cast center like Cragars or were they stamped steel? I recall SOME wheel that had the same look as a Cragar, but was all steel. Maybe Appliance? [/ QUOTE ] Dennis: The 5 spoke Rockets were the same construction as Cragar SS: Cast chrome center, chromed steel rim. And I thought I was the only one that liked 'em! Got to dig up that '70's photo of my '69 Chevelle with the Rockets and L60s to post........ Dave |

Was Rocket an American Company or impoted stuff [/ QUOTE ] Well, I found a company in Australia called Rocket Industries http://www.rocketind.com/ that has the exact logo as the wheels of old. Emailed them but they didn't answer my main question of "is there a connection?". They did say they didn't have Rocket Racing Wheels (no big surprise there). Dave |
