Why call these guys cheap? Perhaps they have have other things that they need to spend their hard earned cash on, like paying a mortgage, heating the house, taking care of a patent, or maybe even feeding the kids. Not everyone can spend boat loads of cash on over priced car parts being sold these days. Some guys want to be in this hobby for the pleasure of owning one of these special cars, and may not be able to spend $20,000 for an engine block. I have way more respect for those guys, than the guys trying to hold them hostage, just because they have their original block, or trans.
