Hi my first post on here,i am in england,an know a little about this car,i knew the guy who used to own it,ive never seen it,but heard about it,i have personally seen the ford lightweight,so i suspect the yenko was in the unit!-that paperwork is all legit (the MOT cert was issued by a repair shop very close to where the owner lived)-the fuel ration book is not related to that car, they wre only used after WW2 for a few years

Hey Bry ,
The ration book probably does belong to that car . Petrol rationing was reintroduced in 73 and although never enforced everybody with a relevant vehicle got a ration book in the mail , was a government knee jerk reaction to the 3 day week and huge price increase in the cost of crude oil . Now show these guys some pics of your SS396 ![]()

Hey Stitch !-yep your right,i forgot about that,Ron it most probably does belong to that car, whilst i was at "that place"the was tantalizing talk of a white 69 yenko ,but it never got past knowing smiles/glances,i spoke to a guy a few days ago who may know the full story,he asked me down for a "coffee and a chat"-think i might just take him up on that offer!
I would put up pic's of my car but im crap with computors -cant work out how to do it-stupid English nitwit |
