Yes, the VIN and YS numbers should and better correlate. Rick H. [/ QUOTE ] What makes you think this? We all agree that they should, but not so sure about using the term 'better correlate'.

The door tag numbers on 68 camaros delivered to Jay Kline. Did not match the vin list. They were mixed among the six cars delivered. It was probably common for them to be mixed on each shipment. Who ever put them on the cars. Did not seem care if they matched car number to vin on the paperwork. Earl

There are 2 67 Corvair Stingers that are that way that I know of that went thru Kline. I sent copies of the Span paperwork to Charlie Doerge years ago on them.

There were also some '67 cars on Yenko's original '68 lists I believe also...(I'll defer the actuality of that to Marlin, as those early lists always make my head hurt!LOL!!

Both Rob and Earl are absolutely correct! The record keeping and stock number asignments were not exactly a science back then!

We all know and understand the Webster definition, we'd like to know why you think the VIN & YS should match up to a list?
