Default Re: 1970-1973 Z-28 wheels/71-72 Chevelle SS wheels?

[ QUOTE ]
let's see if I learned my NastyZ28.com lesson... The hole for the value step will say "AU" and will be a round circle not an oval shaped, egg, "hole." Originals are rather tough to come by but "aftermarket" or should I say later editions are similar/incorrect but good for driver wheels/tires.

Good luck,
Dan

Did I get it right 2nd Gen Camaro guys?

[/ QUOTE ]

I am not sure I understood what you said. So I will take a shot at it: early 1970 wheels have a 1 by 5/8 oval valve stem hole, all others up to and including 1974 have a 1 by 13/16 oval hole and 1977 and up have a round hole.

Late 70-74

77 and up

Sorry, I don't have a early 70 wheel to show you.
