So the frame rail is actually attached to the body, unlike a GTO in which it is actually a separate part.
It sounds like if you have a bad frame rail its is a pretty big job to fix. I will need to make sure I check any potential cars for a solid rail. Thanks for all the replys, it was really helpful. PS. I assume FRITO is not asking real questions because NOBODY seriously has that bad of grammer, puntuation and spelling. ![]() |

Frame rails can be fixed, replaced, or repaired. Most of the time the decision is whether the car is worth it. A nothing special 6 cyl car might not fall into the fix catagory, while a real Z, or SS 396 car most likely would.
