Is your block casted early like this one is too by any chance or is it a little tighter?

it would be really neat to try and find that l89 chevelle that came with your engine. have you tried searching with your vin number? |

I don't know who or how I would find the car? Any suggestions? The casting date on your block should be under the middle freeze plug on the passenger side of the block. If not it is on the back of the block on the bellhousing flange.

This guy says the car was an original L-89 car per the buildsheet. It does not have the original motor anymore and he is asking $69K http://www.almeidasclassiccars.com/

Just called on that one and the vin number was not close to the vin of the one I have but looks like a good one if it has the real paperwork with it.
