69 BB upper alt bracket

Albert, you are supposed to stick a crowbar in the slot that the upper alt bolt goes thru and then bend the main body. You wont have any adjustment ability in the belt so make sure you get one that is about 1/4 on an inch longer than when the alt is positioned closest to the water pump. If you try and go beyond that the bolt will strip. They are the worst reproduction part ever made. But if you work on them for 4/5 hours youll get it working decent. I try and buy every original i can get my hand on.
