that is really disturbing, many sites only allow registered users to view member profiles. again my Emailbox is flooded with offers to get me a "Sonic-Johnson" I'll have to change my email AGAIN !!!

Its going on again right now, there are 364 anonymous users on and a BUNCH of them are checking profiles.

AND my spam folder is starting to fill up.

I brought this up to Tom C. a few days ago and he said unfortunately this is the price of doing business as the web site gets bigger. I felt he had the situation under control. Am sure Mr. Clary will chime in to explain.

Not a bad idea to have limited access to profiles - other sites do it.

Not sure what i would do if this site went down for even a few seconds, er minutes, er hours.....

Maybe I'm wrong but I think you MUST be registered, and MUST be logged on to view members' profiles. Anonymous users viewing a members profile may be some like me; who have chosen the "Anonymous" feature in their profile.
