Darren started that TastyKake thing with some of the other midwesterners following. We were NOT allowed to come into the Chicago area without them. It was our admission to Vettefest and a couple nites out with the boys and it even helped Benny win all the marbles with that stunning 69 BB nova of his at last years Vettefest. I believe with enough TastyKakes you could have Darren's killer lookin L78 camaro or Stefano's dark blue 1970 SS, BB nova. Its a Philly thing along with cheesesteaks, scrapple, hoagies and the best soft pretzels on earth.

TastyKakes on eBay...lots more there too!..

http://cgi.ebay.com/Tastykake-Cream-Fill...1QQcmdZViewItem

If all we hear about these magical cakes is really true, isn't it simple to see that any of the auction groups could increase their success having TastyKakes on hand?.
Who'd need booze when everyone could be all hopped up on the cakes? .

Just think of the possibilities...B-J or R&S sponsored by the Tasty people?.
And how 'bout some new Kreme filled Chocolate Amy Krimpets...yummmmm?

So skip the liquor, have a few cakes & bid knowing you can drive your new wheels home without concerns of a DUI!.

Tasty Kake, Herrs, and Amoroso. Three things anyone outside of the tri state Philly area is definetly missing.

Come on guys! Amoroso rolls !! I concede to the more
knowledgeable folks here on COPO and related topics, but
Italian bread. What's-a-matta-you.

Philly is world famous for their "authentic" Italian bread and
rolls. No self respecting cheese steak or hoagie would be
caught dead in an Amoroso roll. Sarcones are probably the
best rolls in all of Philly. Anyone that goes to Philly
knows what I'm referring to here. I can't leave Philly
each week without having at least one cheese steak or hoagie
and let's not forget the soft pretzels...

Nuch

Seems as though Tastykakes where involved with another deal in the classifieds!

One of these days I'll be making a trip to Latrobe and by golly I'm going to load up on Tastykakes (and hoagies and cheesesteaks and scrapple and and cold whole milk!).

Maybe the site should approach the company to be a contributing sponsor. They certainly get enough print and the Tastykake logo would look good on a T-shirt.

Since it was a nice day here I decided to pull the car out of storage and go for the first cruise of thre season. Thought you guys might enjoy seeing where your TastyKakes are made. I live just down the road from the factory. Nothing better than muscle cars and kakes.

Also, I tried to get a picture in front of the Herrs factory but security chased me away.
