Check out this deck stamping, 68 435 horse 427. Belongs to a friend of mine. I wish he had a better pic. Anyone have an original from the same time frame to compare fonts? I know you can't see the broach marks, but that may just be the crappy pic. I would take a better pic, but he lives in another state.

Thanks Glenn:
I noticed a little different format. The 67 VIN derivative has only the year (7) followed by the last six VIN digits. On the 68 derivative, it has Chev (1) followed by the year (8), then the plant (S) followed by the last six VIN digits. Was this the norm for each of those years at the Corvette plant?
