My previous job when I was in college was performing line service on corporate jets and believe it or not I would go for "ride along" flights and was not fearful because I knew all of the pilots well and felt comfortable around the jets due to working on them. I also worked with the mechanics and knew how well maintained the planes were..

However, other than Continental and Southwest I am really leary of flying.. I have 2 friends that fly for those airlines so I know those planes/pilots are good to go
