Those inner fenders were an option on those cars and I believe an expensive one if I recall correctly. A fella I knew had a 66 goat that had those and they were listed on the build sheet I believe...

If you tilt your head (or your monitor) sideways when viewing the GTO eBay ad, it looks like a $26.33 option on the window sticker. I've never seen them on a GTO before, either. I learn something new every day. I guess I can mentally shut down for the day now.

I'm sure it's just to advertise it and gage interest.850k is kind of silly. And yes Thom McAn is gone. I used to by my PRFC's from them.

Anybody know what the highest price paid for a GTO is?
Im not sure but im thinking it was less then $850k. Might have been that low mileage red 70 RAIV Judge vert? I dont think this car qualifys as a all time top dollor GTO. Its rare and seems like a pretty nice resto but...
