Sounds like a 1970 issued service replacement Block with a forged steel crank for a Camaro-Corvette LT-1.
Those digits after the number 0 make up the sequence number from Flint. Get the casting date in back too. |

That's pretty much what he claimed it was and appears to be so I guess I may as well take it to the house. I had been looking for something like it to use in a project. I'll get the numbers when I go back by. I hate to haul it home in my truck tomorrow in this weather, the weather dude is calling for rain and snow in Kentucky.

Tommy...Buy a couple rolls of saran wrap and wrap the block up real good, then put a garbage bag over that, duct taped up of course.
