Are you sure the first "c" in cc9 or ct9 represent Chevrolet and not counter case or counter trans...
The reason I'm asking is replacement cases and complete trans were also used for in Buick's, Old's and Pontiac's...

I believe the trans in question is an Aug. 1968 build date for a 1969 model year car that was put into the parts system after assembly...

I have a large selection of "cc" and "ct" cases...
