When you said Cross-Fire I came to think of the album I found a few months ago.
I 1985 Volvo had borrowed two or three Corvettes from Chevrolet to examine them. One of the engineers took one of the brand new cars to a Corvette meeting in Nyköping that spring so we all could have a look at it. I took these pics then.

That's not a popular manifold because the EGR gets in the way and leaves a very limited flow area to work with. I think Turbo City or the Corvette Clinic did some work with modifying the TBI's to get some ok power out of it, but not really enough to spend too much time, effort or money on.

I think you are right Jeff. I bought it to make a mediumpower engine look good without spending a lot of money. I will use an old style airfilter on it.
