John called me on the way to Wayne's house and told me he sold the yenko and was taking a 68 camaro on trade. He called me on the way back and said "guess what" Jim's friend mark saw the car and had to have it so he bought it from me,John paused and i said "what did you buy" and John laughed and told me about the Superbird. I knew he could not come home with an empty trailer and a pocket full of cash. Congrats on the superbird!

John, Thanks for helping me and Robin rearrange our car storage building. It was a lot of work, but it turned out great and we enjoyed your company.
We are proud to have your white Douglass Yenko in our collection and hope the orange 4 speed Superbird brings you as much enjoyment as it did to us. I have met the best car people thru this Yenko SuperCar Club site. Most of you have been a class act and have made me feel right at home;although I don't post very often, I do check the site every single day.
I would like to invite any members traveling through the desolate Northeast corner of Colorado to give me a call and we'll give you and your friends a tour.

P.S. Thanks Colin for the Mr. Norm's Daytona and Boss 302.
Thanks Rich P. and Charlie L. for all your help!

I guess Wayne and Robin are the only Yenko Collectors to have one of every (found) Color 1969 Yenko* Camaro offered for sale, to the public.

Congrats!

Congrats John,

For those of you that may be interested...this is not John`s first "Wing Car". John do you have any pictures you can post of your original Super Bird....send them either to Darren or I and we`ll post them for you.

Dan.

Bruce if worse comes to worse I probably will bring trhe RS SS ZL1 we can cruise in that. Than Colin will not be able to laugh at me for getting up every 5 minutes to check on my car.
Thanks Bill yes that deal made at least 3 people happy.

Hmmm... John, RS/SS/ZL1 vs 70 L78?

[/ QUOTE ]

John...let him win. He`s going to go a little crazy if he happens to hear about losing another race...to either one of us.

Hmmm....Darren, Duster vs 1970 L78?

Dan.
