I never gave much thought to what stripes came on my car when new, but I was told that all of the Berger cars came with the D-90 stripes on them. There is an RS OG X11 car in the photo gallery that has pin stripes, but I don't whose car that is. All of the other Berger cars I've seen pictures of had the D-90 hockey stick stripe.
So if I were ever to repaint my car, which would be correct, the hockey stick stripe or the X11 pin stripe?

I have seen an original Paint Berger X11 Double COPO with the D90 Stripe. We can also ask Kevin DeWitte as the original owner of his Berger X11 Double Copo with D90 stripes, how his car was equipped when new.

I hear that his COPO has survived the years much better than he has, but maybe his Nurse can help him type a response

Any non-SS non-Z28 car could order D90 or DX1 stripes. So any COPO could have D90 (or DX1) stripes. Of course the factory would not install the D96 fender pinstripes then.

Here are the pictures of the other Dover Yenko. This car was found in the early 80s by Bob johnson in Georgia. He restored this car and sold it to Otis Chandler for his collection. The car now resides in Florida.
Notice the yenko emblems on the fender above the body line same place where mine once were. The car has already had some front end damage black grille, endura bumper gone drivers lower fender extension bent and the fender stripes are not even close to what D90 stripes should look like not really sure what stripes came on this car.

"Actually I was never happy with the stripes on the car when it was new. It
was very evident the stripes started out as regular D90 stripes with a gap
in the front end of them where the numerals for the engine would go.
Somewhere along the assembly process, this gap was painted black and you
could see where the factory used some kind of a template to spray that open
area black. On one fender it matched perfectly, the other side their
stripes were all off a little. You could also see the overlap of paint on
the top and bottom of the gap where the new paint was painted over the
existing stripe.
My eyes were great back then, remember it well.
The car has been repainted, and I'm debating when I redo it to reproduce
the painted gap. I'm sure that would start a huge question by many on why
my front fender stripes look so weird.
I'm actually going to let my nurse make the final decision because she is
only 29 and had much better eyes than I do!!"
