Bill,
1)As for the power steering nut, it was painted .
2)The alternator spacer can be natural steel or black.
3)The exhaust manifold bolts are not all shouldered on big blocks. The outboard ports have shouldered bolts and the inboard are non shouldered no washers on any of them.

Thanks for the feedback guys. The engine is in the chassis and getting some of these details right is important.
