Yeah Verne try what Jason said....and believe it or not--I've used a strong dog shampoo on a couple of rugs that were pretty soiled and got amazing results.......

Besides the stains, it's too thread bare in a couple places. IT's not a matter of cleaning it better or dying it. I see more than you do in the photos. It's a gonner.
![]() I'm not doing this because I want to "restore" the car; I want to "fix" it. Verne ![]() PS: I DO appreciate everyone's suggestions about how to try and save it. But no matter what I did, that carpet would end up 10 times worse than anything else in the interior. |

Have you talked to these guys. I know a friend who landed what he considered a NOS carpet from them for an early Impala. It was black mind you but worth a call to see what they may have. Good Luck Joe Http://www.originalauto.com |
