I would not be surprised to see the plates changed over before the swaybar. All production changes don't happen at the same time. The swaybar assy probably wasn't available, but the plates were.

No it did not have the the sway bar or the plates welded to the bottom of the car.This looked strange when I first looked at the car back in 2000 when I bought the car.Bob
