Bud, I'm sure the one I had was a Stelling & Hellings model. It had no tube on the base and the base was not chrome It was a dull spun finish. The domed screen was also not chrome but just a shinny piece of plated steel (it never rusted). Only the band was chrome. Maybe the screw and nut were also chrome, I forget. I sold mine to a dealer at Carlisle many years ago for $45. That was probably about twice what I paid for it.....
