They are just not happy if they aren't squeezing every last nickel from both sides of the table.

That's what's known as standard business practice.

Yes! You just passed Business 101 Chris! Business 102 will explain why the phrase "Business Ethics" is an oxymoron.

The best part of ebay is where they change thier paypal page every month to try and deceive people paying with paypal to use thier bank accounts instead of a CC...the answers THEY want you to select are always the highligted ones, and they try and make you hit the PAY button before you can change the method to a CC payment. Of course its written in thier bylaws that once you make a payment there is no recourse to change it. Deception at its best. Even knowing all this, i tried to make a payment the other day and it came out of my bank accouint when i didnt want it to..

Paypal's latest scam: I just received $400 that a seller refunded from those incorrectly sized cragars I bought a month ago. I originally paid via my credit card through Paypal. Instead of refunding my credit card, Paypal made it a new Paypal balance of $400. It takes about 10 minutes of searching their website to figure out how to get your money physically back in your pocket. You have to have Paypal issue you a check...at a cost of $1.50 service charge, of course.

You can also transfer it to your bank account for free or take it out of an ATM is you have a PayPal debit card.

But that's part of their "system." If you have a bank account, they use that as the primary funding mechanism for purchases, not your credit card. There is no way to make the credit card the permananet default funding location for purchases. That is where all the hoops and hurdles pop up when you try to change the funding location back to your credit card when you are trying to make a purchase.

It's "The Man" just trying to keep you down.

[/ QUOTE ] How strange that when you pay w paypal it is IMMEDIATELY taken from your bank account, yet when you transfer money from paypal[your money] to you bank account it takes 4 days. I guess that ensures they get to use everyiones money for 4 days longer so they can earn millions in interest in a years time times millions of users. They got all the angles covered.
