Default Possible 70 Deuce bought from Riverdale Md

A friend of a friend had a Green 70 Nova about 8-10 years back. It was painted solid Green with an old snorkle hood. At the time it was just old car set up for the track. If I recall correctly he responded to a wanted add in Hemmings for a Deuce. It barely had alittle of the White stripe showing on the edge of the door jam area. It was suspposely sold for around $2500-$2800.

Just wondering if anyone here may have bought it,the owner at the time lived about 2 miles from Lustine Chevrolet.

I'm fairly certain you're talking about my car. Does this pic ring a bell? One of the previous owners was from Riverdale MD and lived close to Lustine. Please e mail me at [email protected] with any info you have, thanks!!! -JB

It does! And through the help of 70LS6454 I even have a current telephone # for the previous owner, although I have yet to get an answer... keeping my fingers crossed!

Oh, and I also found out the car used to run consistent 11.80's... before anyone even knew it was a Yenko! Thanks again Ray!

Very cool! There is nothing better than documenting the ownership trail of a car that you own, keep up the great work.

Now, if we could only get that 1/4 panel outta that garage in Prattsburg

Hey Marlin,
That 1/4 panel has moved north to a garage in Newark. I know the owner and he might be willing to part with it....

If that is dad's car, you could still see the stripe in the door jams. A sander reveiled the yenko deuce part of the stripe on that panel. It was pretty neat.

Yep, we're all talking about the same car... Can you PM me with the info for who has the original 1/4 panel now? I don't know what I'd do with it, but that never stopped me from buying anything before.
