I am looking for a few odds and ends to complete my L78. I need brackets and pulleys (non PS and non AC). I need a 136 aluminum intake, and also a carb and distributor. Please message me here or e-mail me at [email protected] Thanks [/ QUOTE ] Tom Williams (Wilma) is the man. |

163 Intake would be correct for the 69 L78...obviously date code is something to consider...but you can't see it once it is on the motor...pulleys for 69 solid lifter BB engines are pretty much all the same....deep groove...a/c was not an option on these motors so it is N/A....power steering was optional and the crank pulley has 2 grooves...if you don't have power steering..it just goes along for the ride. As for carb and distributor you will need a 4346 Holley and a 499 Dist...check with Eric Jackson for the carb and hold your breath for the 499....be careful of restamp parts
