Some photos of that rare '64:

Here's the deck pad. Surprisingly, I didn't get to this car until after 1:30 and I was the first one to clean off the deck to check numbers! Unbelievable! To most who are used to looking at small blocks or MK-IVs, this might look hooky, but I assure you, it IS genuine.

Some original engine details.

The original Rochester 4-Jet. A very tough carb to find. It's known as the low silouette style (notice the short bowl).

Original air cleaner

This gives me tingles......and I'm not even holding onto the wires!

Sorry for posting so late since the auction starts in less than 12hrs, but I just wanted to share.

Verne

I have about the same to say about it as you Verne. Not a lot of stuff, but I was glad there were at least a few passenger 409s. It was very interesting to see a QQ suffix in that 64! Also, after taking down the numbers from the 65 409 block, I discovered one of the two Muncies in the transmission section had a matching vin to the 409, but they were in separate lots and will probably be split up tomorrow.. I was able to get the numbers off most of the cars outside, nothing very interesting. The only code that caught my attention was 2Q on the black 63 409 Impala.
