gto, what do you mean 2000 miles don`t mean anything, the hell it don`t

[/ QUOTE ]

2000 miles means boo if the car needs total restoration and doesn't have original drivetrain, especially for a Z28.

Can we lighten up a bit ? A guy came on here with what he thought was a factory crossram car. Maybe it was a dealer crossram in the trunk or something special. If we are skeptical lets at least try to be polite about it. Telling him a 2000 mile car means nothing is a bit of a stretch.

Hey Bill, Sometimes if you looked real hard you could find the X-ram underneath the spare tire. But it would have to be a full size spare. Also depends on how they threw the headers in that small trunk area. Sometimes the headers ended up in the back seat. In the trunk, behind the door, around the corner etc. is only a figure of speech.

Get us some pics and I would recommend showing us the car before you start to do a resto on it. Sometimes they are like time capsules and once you mess with it it is gone. Congrats on your purchase.

I would like to know where you found an original 2k mile 69 Z28 "sitting" in Philadephia. There are more car flippers in PA and guys looking for the stuff in my area than anywhere else in the country probably. I would have heard or someone I know would have heard about that car just sitting in Philly. Pics please?
