Perhaps Mark the new owner will let us all know since I recall he is a paying member of this site.
I will ask one question. If you were trying to rebuild an original ZL-1 engine with all GM parts what is this set up worth to you vs the value of the engine being completed.
I think the prices being paid today for any NOS GM item is way beyond what any of us would have estimated even 5 years ago but the stashes are drying up and they are not making anymore of these items.
I just wish I had of saved a lot more of what I sold for pennies in the late 80's.Back then if I didnot have 4-6 of these NOS ZL-1 GM set ups on the shelf I knew my friend would have a couple since we ran these in every L-72 and LS-6 that we raced. Today we could not produce a NOS GM solid lifter between us.So congrats to both seller and buyer
