If your going to sell on E-bay consider the occasional a-hole as a cost of doing business. I sold some old Sun equipment, an old timing light and meter for under $50 a couple of months ago. The shipping cost about $15. I was paid quickly, shipped the next day and left positive feedback.
About two weeks later I start getting e-mail's questioning when I shipped the items. Having not requesting insurance my options with the post office were limited. After another week of his accusing e-mails I noticed he had a Florida address. Pulling up his pay pal payment I saw the address he gave me was in Michigan. It turned out he moved about six months before and had not changed his pay pal info. Stupid me for not knowing this.
I contacted him and asked what is your correct address. Well it wasn't the Michigan address or the Florida address it was something all together different. I let him know as soon as his package came back I would reship it immediately. Many more accusing e-mails followed.
It eventually came back - postage due. I let him know the cost of the return and reshipping and he said he would mail me a check right away. Being a nice guy I took him at his word and reshipped his stuff.
Well you know the end of the story - no check ever came and he never even left me feedback.
