Actually, I don't have any myself, but I believe the troop might have some. If you want some pics, I'll ask the scoutmaster if he's got any and forward them to you.
Thanks, stefano, about the tank sticker. Actually, a little history on this car. I haven't had time to look at the sticker yet. The owner before me had this car just sitting in a pole barn for many years, unused. Calipers were frozen, brake fluid was like mollases, center carb was shot, and since it's an automatic tri-power, the center carb is hard to come by. Luckily I searched one down from Chicago Corvette. Interior needed a change, carpet had to be changed, there was just alot of little issues from sitting that had to be corrected. I figured the tank sticker would still be there if I got around to it, and there were just more important things to get together on the car. The Berger Chevrolet deal is pretty cool. I personally did not believe it to be a fraud, especially with the work orders from Berger that were given to me by the previous owner. But at the end of the day, this is just a pretty cool car. Its a 427, numbers matching, automatic. Casting codes on the engine are all correct. It has two tops, white conv. and blck hard top. And I do believe there were only 150 or so of these made in '69. The unfortunate part is that Berger keeps no records of the cars they do, or so they're telling me. Right now, the car is in the paintshop getting the nose redone, there were some spider cracks. since this was the original color, but not the original paint I thought this wouldn't be an issue. I will try to post pictures of this car and my other cars and I do appreciate any help anyone can give on some insight on this car. Thanks.

when i was looking for a center carb [witch is a holly 4056-1]i was told buy chicago corvette the reason these carbs are hard to come by was because the tripower auto 427 was a small production #, the 4 speeds all used a 4055-1 holly witch was much more common.they told me they believe in 69 only 150 or so 427 auto's were made. if someone has more infro on this please let me know

I dont care what anyone has to say... These cars are some sweet rides and if I live close to you I think I would have noticed them driving by. Good luck with the sale.

This thread does bring up a good point on tank stickers. I know that there is a square near the top that indicates dealer code/zone. Does anyone have a breakdown or chart to decipher these? I pulled the tank sticker off of a '67 427/400 Corvette that's in pretty readable shape and would like to know what dealership the car originated from. Those 427/400 Tri-Carb 'Vettes have a pretty interesting tank sticker: they'll actually have 427/390 HP listed and then further down the tank sticker they'll read "400 HP conversion". Something like that. Kinda cool.
