I dont care what anyone has to say... These cars are some sweet rides and if I live close to you I think I would have noticed them driving by. Good luck with the sale.

This thread does bring up a good point on tank stickers. I know that there is a square near the top that indicates dealer code/zone. Does anyone have a breakdown or chart to decipher these? I pulled the tank sticker off of a '67 427/400 Corvette that's in pretty readable shape and would like to know what dealership the car originated from. Those 427/400 Tri-Carb 'Vettes have a pretty interesting tank sticker: they'll actually have 427/390 HP listed and then further down the tank sticker they'll read "400 HP conversion". Something like that. Kinda cool.

thanks pete i appreciate it .i have a few more but didn't want to load up the site with them just wanted people to know I was a serious collector. I will however post some more pictures of this corvette at the end of the week when I get it back form paint. I would like some feedback from people who know more about Berger and what they think of the car. I kind of wish the car didn't have the Berger name plate and plaque on it. Seems to cause me more problems than its worth. The car was brought to me because the person knew of my collection and knew I would restore it and I myself needed a project. Anyone who can help with documentation is greatly appreciated. thanks bob
