I compared this unit to a pic of a the guts of a real BE in a 2004 post here, and they are different. The springs in old pic show the spring wire to be thinner with more windings than the one for sale now.
Can anyone confirm whether the guts in the one for sale look correct for a BE, or not? |

The guts are wrong.
Carrier is a newer Eaton unit with PM gears and 400# spring set. The carrier is also a 3-series. Look at the thickness of the ring gear. Has anyone gotten a clear picture of the tube stamp? |
