-----This L78 would be a good runner with the wide-ratio and 3:55 gears along with the 375hp. Nice combo for a bit of extra pep over an M21.......Bill S

Have you ridden in an L78 car that can run 11.70s and is driven on the street regularly. Our L78 might run mid to low 13s on a good day. The owner just put together a '68 Camaro that is stock looking, streetable, and ran 10.60s first time out. The guy is pretty meticulous. It looks like the Chevelle has a buyer as I write this. He's getting a good car.

Sean,
I know of a project car which I sold about 10 years ago.

The car had no docs and was a Chicago area race car.

It was Green Green with Buckets. Still has the original 3.55 posi rear, disc brake stuff and original single fuel line.

It had NOS fenders and New rear 1/4s were installed when I got it, from the prior owner. It was a solid car. Now Painted Black.

The guy has had it sitting in storage since I sold it to him. The only thing he did was blast and powder coat the frame.

It needs an engine and trans. It is bolted on to a rotisserie.

The owner wants $7,500.00 for the car and all the parts he has, not the rotisserie. I have no pics at this time.

Sean
I have a 1970 L78 convertible 4 spd being restored. Original build sheet, but born with engine is long gone. However, I do have an incredibly rare 70 L78 block. No need to tell you how rare this car is. I will price it reasonable in its current partially restored state if interested.
