I wish I could see the differences but the pictures like mine are dark and hard to see.
This is a 66 chevelle boot that I sold complete with the shifter out of a 66 chevelle. It was original in the car.Do you agree this is 66 chevelle ![]() Now this is a 67 Chevy 2 bench seat boot and shifter I sold which looks a lot like the one you are saying is 65/66 fullsize only. I wish my pictures were clearer ![]() ![]() Now here is the kicker. According to my fullsize parts book the boot or seal for manual trans control lever as they call it is part number 3860183 which is what I show in my original picture and the parts book says it is the same for all 65-67 fullsize with a bench seat. ![]() |

check out the side view of my 1st pic look how high the side of the boot is to cover the hole and still fill up the bezel area.Your boot is short and low to the floor i dont think its a 66 chevelle non console boot as they were more oval and had a oval retainer with a colored plastic garnish ring not squared off like the bottom of yours...

I have a feeling that you may find 67 chevelle bench all by itself as being unique to that year and model but I don't have a chevelle parts book to check. According to what you are showing and the parts book it is not the same as 65-67 fullsize, or 66 chevelle or 66/67 nova bench.
