Hey is this car converted to mid engine with the spare now residing between the front frame rails, or could this have been a Wheelie car. Hey corvairs are coming on strong so why not a rear engine camaro. I don't wanta rub shoulders either. Looks like it will be a nice car with a proper restoration !!! and being in Sue city it looks like he's not taking any chances on being sued !!!!!! It would have been nice to see picures of the trunk spackling !!! Only on E-bay !!!!!

The seller added a Buy It Now price of $69,999. Awful cheap for a restored real COPO.

I dont understand why many people will consider a X44 car with a hole in the firewall as a real copo, yet a X44 car with a MN motor as in this car for sale is assumed fake. Is the rule of thumb that a car is judged based on the attitude of the seller or something?????? Personally ive always felt a MN motor[while not true documentation] was better than having a drilled hole or a 3/8 fuel line

I agree the motor will tell the tale, but the photos he put up make it hard to see if it is a restamp or not.

It seems to me that the seller really has no clue here...Although I believe his story of how he got the car...I find it hard to believe the person that sold it to him did not have a clue.....assuming this turns out to NOT to be real....I believe this seller may have been duped...
if it is real??? If only I had the funds...and the space!!! it does have the muncie speedo cable location on firewall, does'nt it??? Maybe I'm wrong??? Hey Rich....Maybe it's an original LM1??? didn't they come with muncies too??? hehehe |

now that I think about it...the LM1 was too early to be an X-44 car....right??? So what could it have been??? X-44 w/ speedo cable exit where it is??? I guess if someone went thru the trouble of making a fake...they would know that...Isn't there anyone that lives near there??? Wish I did...I'd check it out...
