Phil, BE radiators were 2 row cored radiators. Maybe Rick has them confused with BO or BQ codes which were the 3-row manual trans radiators?

Yep I was wrong.The BE is a 2 core.
I was comparing it to a local L-34 M/T here, that in actuality has a BQ Rad. replacement with an incorrect BE tag attached, that the last owner installed awhile ago due to overheating problems he had once he installed taller rear gears.I actually should have noticed it sooner as the parts book calling the BE depth being 1.26,is much narrower then the actual radiator on the vehicle I looked at. Sorry for that misinformation. Woj That SB rad. is a Powerglide application I believe..yes? |

The "SB" is with a 350/300hp / TH350. I managed to get a spare radiator with the same code out of a similar car with a TH350.
My Chevrolet parts manual is far from complete regarding radiators and codes, even the 1969 manual that I picked up. Good info being traded here. Learn new stuff every day. Phil Woj. |

OK then Rick and Phil, I will concentrate on finding a BO or BQ radiator or equivalent set of 3 row tanks. Lots of stuff to think about before pulling the trigger. Thanks.....Pat
