Default Re: 1969 Chevelle SS 396 L78 car, Frame OFF 4speed

When a Car is perported to be something "special" then it should be.
It is a Very Nice resto. Looks clean.
But facts are facts.
It has Not got the "Original" Engine, it has a 70, and a Spare, Not Matching Numbers 375hp engine. Neither one is
the Motor that came from the factory in this car.
Strike One on the value as an L-78.
Emblems, Yep. Sloppy. Could be factory, they were building Profits and Transportation. Not "Showpieces"
We do That to them. We turn them into "perfect" showpieces.
Price seems Fair for a SS 396, but I would rather have a low horsepower 396 that matched then a high horsepower that came out of ????
If you are going to advertise something as "Something" it's just Proper to make sure it really is something.
Good Luck selling.
I think the Members here are just trying to keep everyone honest. They want to make sure, and they have a significant amount of knowledge here, that what is said, is "Correct".
After all, it is the members site and thier reputation that is at stake.
In buying Any Car, the Buyer should and needs to be as educated as possible if he/she wants to be a Happy Buyer.
