Did all motors have the vin stamped on the block over the oil filter???

Nope. Around Jan. of 69 they appeared at the oil filter.

Nope. Around Jan. of 69 they appeared at the oil filter. [/ QUOTE ] Sam, LA stamped the VIN by the oil filter at the start of production, then around Nov on the pad, and sometime late Feb, back down by the filter. However you are correct for Norwood built cars.
