Looking at the 3rd pic (rear shot), It looks to still have the inboard "T" bolts in place. I would have guessed part of the suspension upgrade would replace those w/ U bolts along with additional welding to the rear axle tubes. Is there any evidence of that?
Is it a 396 or 454? Both are listed above. Is the 5th digit of the VIN a "T"? That would indicate that she was, at the very least, born a Z-28. If you have any more pics feel free to send them my way for posting Jon. Nice looking ride.
