Does it have a title or transferable registration? Oops, sorry, that just slipped out!

I do recall the other car, fixed it all up nice for the crazy Aussie I had to return it to because I couldn't get a slip of paper from him to show I owned it...was an expensive lesson to be sure

Colin, you know i couldnt give you a direct bill of sale as was asked when i didnt sell it to you in the first place. Why was the car restored and advertised a while before you brought up any paperwork issue .?? Thanks for the unwarranted cheap shot though, even though i told you id do anything to help except write something on a piece of paper that was false.. Its a shame this stuff has to be out on a post, but i didnt start it here . Anyone in CT can tell you that when you reg a car,you get a temp reg until it expires, then you get a permamnent reg. CT is not a title state,so you can never get a title .Therefore if you sell a car before youve received the permanent reg, you transfer title with the TEMPORARY reg, which is what the buyer got. The fact it did YOU no good because title was being jumped and you didnt buy it from me , certainly isnt my problem.

I'm supposed to go look at a '69 L78 Elky - had no idea they were so rare, tells me that it's more likely to be an L34. Interesting.....
